Such a cute place. Really homey. I would have some patience when you come in here. It's not like you are going to come in get an order really quick and leave. Everything is made to order. Overall I appreciate the care they took.
A little homey nook in Astoria that I am glad I got to go to! The personal decor choices surrounding the tables sets yourself in the scene of a welcoming kitchen! I ordered a panini, that was tiny but quite filling and delicious! When I come back to New York, I'm eager to try their coffee and other refreshments. Thank you so much for being here!
We were in the neighborhood to visit a friend and stopped by on the way for coffee. SUPER cozy place with great service, great atmosphere and great eats. Highly recommend stopping in. We'll be back for sure next time we're in the neighborhood.
I come here often to work from home and it's always a good vibe. The staff are kind, and it's a very chill atmosphere overall. Whether you're here for coffee, a pastry, or brunch, the food always hits the spot. It's never too crowded either but is still a popular neighborhood spot with great indoor and outdoor seating options.
Ordered: Iced Latte (~$7): with oat milk (50¢) + lavender syrup (50¢) Aya's take: I was in the area and needed a caffeine pick-me-up. I decided to stop by Sweet Scene to grab a quick coffee and enjoy their outdoor seating. Off the bat, I was disappointed that there's a convenience fee for credit cards especially in this day and age when most places accept cards or are cashless. The Iced Latte was silky, creamy, and tasted great. It was just what I needed on a hot day. I also enjoyed the chill vibe of the outdoor seating area. Probably wouldn't be my go-to coffee spot but good try nonetheless!
This is my go-to place for my morning coffee run. The mother-daughter duo who run this place are the cutest and sweetest. I CANNOT get enough of their fresh-baked pastries. I have yet to try them for lunch but I plan to do so soon.
Great coffee and AMAZING BAKED GOODS. this place has the most delicious gluten free cookies and cakes. Better than most regular baked cookies and cakes I've had.
